Micro meter, Varner caliper , Boregauge and instrument knowledge 6. Cutting tools knowledge and machine maintenance knowledge Develop and optimize CNC programs for VMC machines using CAM software Read and interpret complex technical drawings, 3D models, and GD&T specifications. Select appropriate tools, cutting parameters, and fixtures based on material and design requirements. Set up and operate VMCs to produce prototype and production parts to tight tolerances. Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to meet regulatory standards (ISO 13485, FDA, etc.). Conduct in-process inspections using precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, CMM). Maintain accurate documentation of programming, setup sheets, and inspection results.
