indian Institute of Gems & Jewellery Delhi (IIGJ Delhi) is a subsidiary of the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) India. GJEPC India, founded in 1966, is the apex body driving India's export-led growth in the gem and jewellery sector, sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India. The Indian Institute of Gems & Jewellery Delhi (IIGJ Delhi) is an esteemed educational institution established in 1986 as a project of The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council. It is recognized as one of the oldest and most prestigious institutes of its kind in India. In 2010, IIGJ Delhi was registered as a company "Not for Profit" under Section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956 (now u/s 8 of the Companies Act, 2013). Over the years, the Institute has played a crucial role in the growth and advancement of the jewellery industry through its comprehensive education programs in jewellery design, gemology, and jewellery manufacturing and have certified more than 13,000 alumni. Job Description: Faculty-Gemology Position Overview: We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Gemology Faculty member to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in gemstone identification, diamond grading, and evaluation as well as a commitment to inspiring and mentoring the next generation of gemologists.
