Role & responsibilities

Civil Design Engineer – Water & Waste Water Industry Only

The role is suitable for technically strong, commercially aware

candidates with a background in Civil Engineering in the water industry

or other closely related industries.

You should possess and be able to demonstrate the following qualifications, skills and knowledge:

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in your home country or the country in which you are practicing.

• Typically, have a minimum of 5 years related work experience.

• A good working knowledge of clean water and/or wastewater engineering design including pumped and gravity hydraulic design, plant layout, awareness of other discipline needs, ability to work on the development of civil engineering aspects of the design in a 3D model environment and the preparation of General Arrangements and layouts.

• Assist in identification of change and contribute to risk management. • Must be enthusiastic, adaptable and be driven to provide efficient engineering solutions.

• Be self-motivated and able to work with within a multi-discipline teams to deliver engineering outputs to time and budget.

• Be able to recognize and communicate change and consequences.

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills along with a high level of computer literacy.
